Lifecasting is the process of creating an identical copy of the human form, through the use of highly skilled molding and casting techniques. The outstanding feature of lifecasting is the high level of realism and detail. Lifecasts are identical sculptures of you, which capture detail as small as fingerprints, folds, dimples, and the lines that define life—a sculptural memory. Art of Love is a mobile opportunity that brings you the joy of creating personal art in your home, office or hospice Professional 3-dimensional bodycasting of babies, children, adults, and even pet paws. NO, not at all. All materials that come in contact with your child’s skin are completely non-toxic. The process itself is very gentle. Your child is required to submerge their hand/foot into the moulding gel. It will then take approximately 60 seconds for the gel to set, creating a perfect mould of your baby or child’s hand or foot.
Babies can be awake or asleep, for the most part there is no issue as the product we use for babies cures up pretty quickly.

Old, washable clothing is recommended—just in case. The process can be messy if a baby twists or kicks. We provide towels, plastic, and a drop cloth to catch any spills. We have refined the process so that very little clean up is needed. Also, if you are getting a body part cast that is usually clothed, try not to wear tight fitting clothing before our visit so we will not have to wait for the marks or indentations to disappear. This could take up to an hour or more! Things to think about—ring and wrist watch indentations, sock lines, bra lines, underwear lines, waistband lines, and tight belt lines … Skin: Do not put makeup on if you are getting a face cast done. The makeup will transfer into the cast and then onto the finished piece.

Yes. It can be a lot of fun for a group to have a baby hand/foot casting party. We bring all the materials for the group. This can be an unforgettable bonding experience for you, your friends, and your family. You can even involve your older children in the process. The best time to have baby hand casting party is when the babies are still quite young, small, and sleep a lot. This makes the process with many babies much easier; the baby who is relaxed can be cast and the restless ones can wait until they calm down. A minimum of 5 baby hand/foot castings are required for a group session at your location.
Lifecasting parties can be organized for mother and toddler groups.
A discount is offered to the host.
A group deposit is required at the booking and the balance payable on the party date.

Buying a kit and having a go yourself is an option you might be considering. Maybe it looks like a cheaper option? Maybe you think it will be fun? Unfortunately, DIY kits usually end up an expensive and unsuccessful waste of time & money. In our opinion DIY lifecasting kits are not a good idea. The materials they supply are usually cheap & hard to work with. The end result is often a lot of mess and no actual finished item! Lifecasting takes a lot of practice and the chances of achieving the results they advertise are very slim.If you want to have make a mess, get frustrated, waste money, risk upsetting your baby & end up with a mediocre result…then give it a go! It’s like everything in life…we can take photos with our camera – but this does not make me a photographer!!!
WHEREAS…if you want guaranteed high quality results, created safely and with the correct experience and knowledge, in a stress free, mess free, professional environment, we recommend having them created professionally. Doesn’t YOUR baby, family deserve the best?
Our guarantee is simple: We guarantee that you will be pleased with your casting or we will re-do it at no extra charge to you. We are proud of our work and we want you delighted with your casting.
Below you will find some questions that we are often asked when discussing the process of taking your babies hand and feet impresssions. Should you have a question that is not listed here, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
What our happy customers have said about us 🙂
“I was planning to gift my momdad with something that would remain throughout lifetime to celebrate their 40 years of togetherness. And suddenly I saw Art of Love on facebook. One look at the page and it clicked, this is it 😃. I contacted Oksana and talked to her, she gave me ideas and options that could be done. Brought my momdad as a surprise to her place, and like a magic the casting was done. The output that came out was beautiful 😍❤️. It was the best gift that I could give it to my momdad and not just for them but for us as well. The ashirwad hand cast and together forever will always be with us. Thank you so much Oksana for making it memorable. I really appreciate the hard work you have put into making it lively. I highly recommend it for the couple and oldies, if you are looking for a gift for your loved one or family… this is the art piece you should go for it ❤️❤️❤️”
